Cameron Rogers – Life Member #24

It is with great pleasure the the Ringwood Saints Baseball Club can announce that Cameron Rogers has been awarded Life Membership after many years of valued service to the Club. Cameron is now the third generation of the Rogers family to relieve this honour.

Cameron has had a 35-year involvement with the Club starting as a junior in 1989. He commenced playing seniors in the 1993 winter season. In addition, he played 6 seasons of summer baseball for the Club. At the end of this 2024 winter season, he has played 622 senior games for the Club.

On the field, he has managed senior teams during the 2008, 2009, 2010 (B Reserves Premiership), 2011 and 2024 seasons. He has also coached junior teams 2021 and 2022.

In addition, Cameron will also provide assistance to other senior games especially when an umpire is required.

He has always been a very reliable utility player, able to fill any position on the field but it is as a first baseman that he really excels.

Off the field Cameron has been a huge contributor. He has been on the Committee for 12 years from 2004 through to 2022. In 2004 he assumed the role of President. In all he has been president for 5 years 2004 to 2006 and from 2011 to 2012.

Throughout, Cameron has always thought about the Club and how best to continue to improve the playing field and off-field environments as well as the camaraderie of the Club.

On behalf of everyone at the Saints – Thank you Cameron
