A.G.M – New Date!
Your presence at this meeting is essential to elect the incoming committee and to ensure you have the opportunity to have your say in how the club will run this coming season.
Date: Monday 19th February 2018
Time: 7:30pm
Location: Proclamation Park, Sylvia Grove, Ringwood
What happens at the AGM?
The AGM is your opportunity to become directly involved in important club decisions. You will be able to vote on important club matters and you may also ask questions of the Executive Committee. A copy of the 2017 Annual Report will also be available to all members on the night.
Fee structure for the 2018 winter season will again be an important issue and the AGM is your opportunity to voice your opinion.
How do nominations for committee positions work?
Any club member can nominate another member (nomination form) for a role on the 2018 committee, however this does not automatically secure them the position.
The nominated club member must first accept the nomination, and then the members present at the AGM must decide which of the nominated candidates are best suited for the role.
lf you have been nominated for a role on the 2018 committee, you should discuss the role with Norm Crebbin or Ian Davidson.
NOTE: attendance at the AGM allows you to have a say, it does not mean that you will end up on the club committee.
All positions are vacated each year and nominations are required as follows:

What should I do if I am unable to attend the AGM?
If you cannot attend please return the Proxy Form so it counts towards numbers for attendance. We need to have enough members attend the meeting to ensure the meeting’s legality. Therefore, it is in the best interest of the club that you attend this one-hour meeting to have your say in how the club is run and ensure 2018 gets off to the best possible start.
lf you are unable to attend the Annual General Meeting, you should make your apologies to either Norm Crebbin or Ian Davidson.
Other lmportant Pre-season lnformation
The Club is seeking written expressions of interest for any coaching/managing position whether senior or junior. These expressions of interest should set out which senior grade or junior age group you are interested in coaching/managing and should be sent as soon as possible by email.
ln addition we are trying to determine how many senior teams to enter this coming season. Please advise us either by SMS or email whether you intend to play this season or not.
